RACE TO TIL-THORIN — Chronicles of a Hero, Book 2

Turns out being the hero comes with a catch. Everything that wants the world dead now wants Wendell first.

Wendell P. Dipmier wanted to be somebody.

He really should have read the fine print.

Now he's stranded a universe away from everything he knew, carrying a power the whole world would carve out of his chest to claim, with exactly two qualifications for the job: he can take a punch, and he can run.

Then a letter finds him. Written by a father he never knew, in a hand that cannot be forged, carrying a warning older than kingdoms: ancient seals are the only thing standing between the living world and the darkness it once buried. Break them, and it all comes undone.

Something has already started breaking them.

The answers begin in one place... a fortress called Til-Thorin, on the far side of a hostile world, with an army of nightmares already flooding the passes between. To reach it, Wendell will have to cross open country with a guardian who can't stand him, a wizard who may be madder than he is wise...

...and stay one step ahead of a hunter who already knows his name.

The clock is running.

So is Wendell.

Because you are always more than you think you are.
